The Vinnu river, fed by the Vinnufonna glacier, falls 845 metres down the mountainside in three tiers, the longest of them 575 metres, before joining the Driva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Anreise<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The waterfall is about 6 km east of Sunndals\u00f8ra on road RV70, with parking at the Holsskeiet rest area. Sunndals\u00f8ra is about 2.5&ndash;3 hours by car from Trondheim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Besuch und Wandern<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vom Rastplatz aus hat man ohne Fu\u00dfweg einen guten Blick auf den Fall. Daneben f\u00fchrt die Vinnutrappa hinauf, eine von Sherpas gebaute Steintreppe, deren erster Abschnitt im Herbst 2022 er\u00f6ffnet wurde; bis zum Ende des fertigen Abschnitts braucht man 30\u201340 Minuten. Die Treppe ist vom 15. Mai bis 1. November ge\u00f6ffnet, Drohnen sind wegen des nahen Flugplatzes Vinnu verboten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Beste Reisezeit<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Am spektakul\u00e4rsten ist der Wasserfall im Sp\u00e4tfr\u00fchling und Fr\u00fchsommer (Mai bis Juli), wenn die Schneeschmelze auf dem Gletscher den Wasserfluss verst\u00e4rkt.
