Das Corso von Zundert findet in der Stadt Zundert in der Provinz Nordbrabant in den Niederlanden statt, nahe der belgischen Grenze. Am einfachsten erreicht man die Veranstaltung mit dem Auto oder mit \u00f6ffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln \u00fcber das nahe Breda, von wo w\u00e4hrend des Festes Sonderbusse fahren. Parkpl\u00e4tze werden meist in Gehweite der Umzugsstrecke eingerichtet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This festival is the world\u2019s largest flower parade built entirely with dahlias, with origins dating back to 1936. Each year, around 20 hamlet teams (buurtschappen) compete by building gigantic moving sculptures decorated exclusively with dahlias. These floats can reach impressive sizes and are constructed entirely by volunteers over several months. The event attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year, and since 2021 Dutch corso culture has been on UNESCO\u2019s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The parade traditionally takes place on the first Sunday of September, followed by a public exhibition of the floats on Monday. In 2026 it was held on 6\u20137 September; the next Corso Zundert takes place on Sunday 5 September 2027, with the exhibition on Monday 6 September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access to the parade area requires a ticket. In 2026 entry to the parade cost \u20ac13 in presale or \u20ac16 at the gate, and the Monday exhibition \u20ac6 in presale or \u20ac7 at the gate; children aged 12 and under go free. Grandstand seats are sold separately and do not include entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der Tag beginnt meist am Vormittag mit Unterhaltungsprogramm, der Hauptumzug startet am fr\u00fchen Nachmittag (gegen 13:30 Uhr) und dauert mehrere Stunden. Am folgenden Tag sind die Wagen ab dem Vormittag ausgestellt und k\u00f6nnen aus der N\u00e4he besichtigt werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
