Die im Westen der Peloponnes gelegene Stadt war \u00fcber tausend Jahre lang das religi\u00f6se und sportliche Zentrum des antiken Griechenlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every four years, athletes from across the Greek world gathered here to compete in honor of Zeus. Today, Olympia is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the country\u2019s most visited archaeological destinations.
