Orl\u00edk Castle is one of the most picturesque castles in the Czech Republic. Situated near the village of Orl\u00edk nad Vltavou, the castle overlooks the waters of the Orl\u00edk Reservoir on the Vltava River. Originally founded as a Gothic fortress in the 13th century, it was later transformed into an elegant Neo-Gothic residence and became the property of the influential Schwarzenberg family, one of the most prominent noble families in Central Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The castle is known for its striking white fa\u00e7ade, richly furnished interiors, and extensive collections of historical artifacts. Visitors can explore ceremonial halls, private apartments, libraries, hunting rooms, and displays of weapons, paintings, and decorative arts. Travelers may also use bus connections from Prague and nearby towns before continuing to the castle area.
