The festival is famous for its unique concept: a large-scale parade followed by a symbolic “battle” using flowers. Participants ride on decorated floats and carriages covered with thousands of fresh flowers, while spectators throw flowers back at them. More than a million flowers, mainly carnations grown for the occasion, are used during the event, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere filled with color and fragrance.
