Höhlenhäuser Dietikon (Cave houses) is an unusual architectural project for residential buildings in Dietikon, near Bruno Weber Park, in the canton of Zurich, Switzerland. The complex of cave houses (or Earth houses) is built in the style of modernist. The semi-underground buildings look like the hobbit houses from The Lord of the Rings movie.
The Hobbit houses were built in 2020 by Bau Partner 88 AG. The architect of these Earth houses is Peter Vetsch.
