The Cuevas del Drach (Dragon Caves) are a famous limestone cave system located on the southeastern coast of the Spanish island of Mallorca, near the town of Porto Cristo in the municipality of Manacor. Formed in upper Miocene carbonate rock (some 11 to 5.3 million years old), the caves stretch for about 1,200 meters of accessible passageways and reach a depth of up to 25 meters below the surface.

A standard visit to the caves takes about one hour and includes a live classical concert performed on Lake Martel, one of the largest underground lakes in the world. The tour also allows visitors, at the end of the concert, to cross the lake either by a small boat or on foot via a bridge — both options are included in the admission.

The interior temperature remains stable throughout the year, generally between 17 °C and 21 °C, with relatively high humidity.

Entrance fees vary depending on whether tickets are purchased online or at the box office. As of current rates, adults (13 years or older) pay around €17.50 online (about €18.50 at the ticket office), while children (3–12 years) cost €10.50 online (or €11.50 on-site). Babies aged 0 to 2 years enter for free.

What truly distinguishes the Cuevas del Drach is their theatrical and atmospheric design: the caves house spectacular stalactites and stalagmites, vividly lit to enhance their natural forms, and the concert on Lake Martel has been a highlight of the tour since the 1930s. The formations inside grow extremely slowly (only about 0.2 to 1.6 millimetres per year), and visitors are asked not to touch them.
