这 Tel Aviv Promenade, called Tayelet in Hebrew, stretches for almost 10 km, from the old Jaffa area to the old Tel Aviv port. Along the promenade, you’ll find luxury hotels, restaurants, and cafes.

Its main attraction is the beautiful beaches with golden sand, protected from large waves by artificial breakwaters. The promenade is lively at all hours: in the morning, you’ll see people doing yoga, jogging, or cycling; during the day, sunbathers and swimmers enjoy the Mediterranean (swimming season lasts from April to November, though the water rarely drops below 19°C in winter); and in the evening, it’s full of people walking or sitting in seaside cafes, especially at sunset.

Recent renovations turned the promenade into a cascade of tiled paths, perfect for walking or cycling. All beaches, except Ha-Tsuk, are free, and amenities like showers, toilets, and changing cabins are available. The promenade is divided into sections, such as the Port promenade, Hilton, Lahat, and Sha-ar Le-Jaffo.

Overall, Tayelet is a great place to relax by the sea, though restaurants and hotels on the waterfront are expensive.
