美泉宫 is a former summer residence of the Habsburg dynasty, located in the Hietzing district of Vienna, Austria. The palace complex lies just outside the city center and is accessible via the U4 subway line; travelers can alight at the Schönbrunn station, approximately 15–20 minutes from Karlsplatz, followed by a five-minute walk to the main entrance.

The Schönbrunn complex consists of the palace itself, extensive gardens, and the Tiergarten Schönbrunn (Vienna Zoo). Visitors can purchase tickets for palace tours starting at 22 euros (2024), depending on the selected interiors. Entry to the zoo costs 27 euros, while the park is accessible for 5.5 euros. Additional attractions, including the Glorietta pavilion and the maze, require separate tickets. Tickets are available for purchase online.

The palace park is open to the public free of charge and features a vast network of alleys, sculptures, fountains, and flower beds. The Glorietta, a pavilion with a colonnade, sits atop a small rise, offering panoramic views of the gardens and palace.

Schönbrunn Palace attracts around six million visitors annually, making it one of Vienna’s most frequented attractions. While the gardens are most spectacular in summer, when flowers are in full bloom, the park remains pleasant for walks even during winter months.
