Hidirlik Tower located near such attractions Antalya, like old harbor and Kaleichi district, the only well-preserved historical places of the city. Getting to the tower is quite simple: walk straight along Ataturk Boulevard from the city center to the very end of the street (to the southeast).

Hydyrlik Tower (Hıdırlık Kulesi) is located at the very cliff by the sea. You can get to it either through Karaalioglu Park or through the old quarters of the Kaleici district. The tower is one of the few ancient Roman buildings in the city (along with Emperor Hadrian’s Gate) that has been well preserved to this day. It was built, according to historians, in the 2nd century AD. Due to its fortunate high location at the edge of the sea near a cliff, it could serve either as a lighthouse for ships arriving in the old harbor of Antalya, or carry out defensive functions.

The height of the Khydirlyk tower is more than 13 meters. It has an unusual shape of a square at the base and a round drum at the top. This is not a very large structure. But from here you get very beautiful photos of Antalya and its harbor.
