Seaside Park of Burgas (Morska Gradina) – one of the largest and most beautiful parks in Bulgaria, is a monument of park art.

The seaside park stretches almost along the entire Black Sea coast of Burgas, it seems to separate the city itself from beach and sea. The park begins near Burgas seaport and stretches all the way to Lake Atanasovsko. Green spaces cover an area of about 60 hectares, and the length of the park is more than 5 km.

Work on the creation of the Burgas Seaside Park began back in 1910. In place of the vacant lot, along the seashore, between the beach and city center, they began to lay alleys, plant trees and plants, including exotica brought from afar.

Now in Morska Gradina Park you can find:

• a beautiful central terrace “balustrade”, which offers a wonderful view of the sea;
• well-groomed shady alleys decorated with flower beds, sculptures and fountains;
• the former “Marine Casino”, now the cultural center of the city;
• summer theater and open stage “Snail”, where various concerts and cultural events are held;
• Flora complex, where the international flower exhibition is held annually “Burgas Flora”. There is also an outdoor swimming pool here in the summer, and various exhibitions are held.
• restaurants, cafes, food pavilions;
• Lots of benches, playgrounds, bike paths and even shady courts (this service is paid). There is also an amusement park with attractions;
• surf school (located on the beach).
• well-equipped beach (free entrance, sunbeds and umbrellas for money).

Bicycle rentals are available in the park. The cost of the service is 1 lev (half a euro) for 1 hour. From here you can cycle along the new bike path to Sarafovo. The path goes along the sea coast.

Also at the very end of the park, already near Lake Atanasovskoye, on the territory of a separate park “Lake”, exhibition of sand sculptures.

The Seaside Park of Burgas is located next to the historical center of the city, next to the central pedestrian area of Burgas. You can get to the park from more remote places in the city by buses No. 4,12A,15.
