Alanya Port, also known as Alanya Marina, is a popular destination near the old city center of Alanya, Turkey. The port area features a long promenade lined with restaurants and cafes, numerous pleasure boats, and yachts, some designed like ancient pirate ships. These boats offer excursions, foam parties, and discos, often including lunch and drinks, with trips costing around 20 euros. The marina is located at the foot of the fortress mountain, opposite Cleopatra Beach, so reaching it from the beach requires passing through the city center.

A sandy city beach stretches along the port, although the sand is less clean than that of Cleopatra Beach. One of the main landmarks here is the Red Tower, or Kyzyl Kule, built in the early 13th century by Sultan Ala-ad-din to protect the city port and shipyard. Constructed from red stone by an architect from Aleppo, the octagonal tower stands 33 meters high with a diameter of 29 meters and consists of five floors. Visitors can climb 85 steep stone steps to reach an observation deck offering views of the port and surrounding city.

The tower houses an ethnographic museum on the first floor, though it is of limited interest. Tickets cost between 3 and 5 Turkish lira, and the tower is open from 8:00 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 17:30, with Monday as a day off. The central reservoir of the tower adds to its historical character, making the Red Tower one of Alanya’s key attractions.
