Avsallar Beach is a golden sand beach located in the village of Avsallar, about 25 km northwest of Alanya, along the road to Antalya. The nearest major city is Alanya, reachable in 20–30 minutes by local minibuses (dolmushi) for around 5 Turkish lira. From Antalya Airport, the distance is approximately 105 km, taking a little over 2 hours by car or tourist bus.

Beach and Nature:

• Length: ~3 km of mostly clean yellow sand, with some pebble areas along the edges.
• Sea: mostly shallow near hotels like Lonicera, deeper in other areas; stones are rare.
• No promenade or public parks; the beach is not very wide, but first-line hotels are directly on the seashore.

Climate and Swimming:

• Warmest part of Turkey’s southern coast; swimming season April to October.
• Water temperature: +20°C in May, +27–28°C in July–September, +22–23°C in October.
• Best time to visit: September, when it is warm but less crowded than midsummer.

• Avsallar is small and cozy, with a pedestrian area featuring cafes, restaurants, and shops.
• Nearby is the Alara River, which mostly dries in summer, keeping the sea water clean.
