达沃斯

达沃斯 is a year-round holiday destination in the Swiss Alps, located in eastern Switzerland in the canton of Grisons at an altitude of over 1,500 meters. It is one of the highest towns in Europe and is famous for both skiing and the annual World Economic Forum.

The nearest major airport is Zurich, about 150 km away. By car, the journey takes roughly 2 hours. By train, it takes about 3 hours from Zurich, with a transfer at Landquart. Trains run hourly from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Winter Activities

Davos is a world-class ski resort with six main ski areas and around 250 km of slopes ranging from 1,560 to 2,844 meters. The trails include blue (easy), red (medium, 128 km), and black (difficult) runs. The combined Davos-Klosters ski area offers about 300 km of trails. The longest run is Weissfluhgipfel–Küblis, approximately 12 km. The Parsenn peak is the highest skiing point at 2,844 meters. A daily ski pass costs about CHF 60 (2025), with discounts for children and youth.

Other Activities

Beyond skiing and snowboarding, Davos offers sledding (five tracks) and ice skating, including Europe’s largest natural ice rink. In summer, the area is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, and enjoying the clean alpine environment.
