Limassol Municipal Park (Garden) is a large, shady city park located in the heart of Limassol, Cyprus, in the Agias Nikolaos area, near the Akti Olympion beach and the main promenade.

• Getting there: The park is easily reached via bus No. 30, stopping at “Municipal Gallery” or “28 October Avenue.”
• Walking distance: About 10 minutes to Molos Promenade and 20 minutes to the Old Town and Old Port.
• 入口： Free; gates usually open at 9 a.m. and close around 19:00–19:30, depending on the season. The main entrance is from the embankment, but there are other entrances on different sides of the park.

Features

• The park is heavily shaded with large trees, including palms, pines, plane trees, eucalyptus, cypresses, and araucarias. It almost feels like a botanical garden because of the variety of plants, many with informational signs.
• There are gazebos, benches, and fountains throughout the park.
• Several large playgrounds, summer cafes, and gazebos are available for visitors.
• The park also hosts an open-air summer theater (Municipal Garden Theatre) and city museums.

Attractions and Activities

• Limassol Zoo: Located within the park, perfect for a family visit.
• Events: The park hosts the annual Wine Festival in September (paid entry) and other cultural and children’s events.
• Nearby cafes: On the opposite side from the embankment is a popular Starbucks.

Visiting Limassol Municipal Park offers a relaxing escape in the city center, with plenty of shade, recreational areas, and attractions for both adults and children. It can be easily combined with visits to the zoo, Molos promenade, or nearby archaeological sites.
