Its strategic position overlooking the River Thames made it both a defensive stronghold and a residence for royalty. Several monarchs, including Henry VIII and Elizabeth II, are buried there.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The castle\u2019s blend of defensive fortifications and luxurious living spaces makes it a unique architectural and historical landmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u53c2\u89c2\u57ce\u5821<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Windsor Castle is open to the public for most of the year, except during official events or state occasions. The journey takes about 30\u201350 minutes depending on the route, and both stations are a short walk from the castle entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
