Grand-Place, called Grande-Place in French and Grote Markt in Dutch, is the historic central square of Brussels, Belgium\u2019s capital city. It has served as the social and commercial heart of Brussels for centuries, surrounded by ornately decorated guild houses, the striking Town Hall, and the Maison du Roi (King\u2019s House), which now hosts the City Museum. The square\u2019s architectural ensemble reflects different styles ranging from Gothic to Baroque, making it one of Europe\u2019s most visually impressive urban spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
