The Telef\u00e9rico del Teide is located within Teide National Park on the island of Tenerife, Spain. It provides access to the upper slopes of Mount Teide, the highest peak in Spain at 3,715 meters. The lower station of the cable car is situated at an altitude of approximately 2,356 meters, while the upper station reaches about 3,555 meters, just below the summit. The cableway is one of the main tourist attractions in the Canary Islands and offers a fast and convenient way to experience high-altitude volcanic landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cable car journey takes about 8 minutes, covering a vertical ascent of more than 1,100 meters. During the ride, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of lava fields, craters, and, on clear days, neighboring Canary Islands. At the upper station, several marked walking trails allow visitors to explore viewpoints overlooking the volcanic terrain and the island below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A standard round-trip ticket for the Telef\u00e9rico del Teide usually costs around \u20ac38\u2013\u20ac41 for adults and \u20ac19\u2013\u20ac21 for children, depending on the season and availability. It is recommended to book tickets in advance, as access may be limited due to weather conditions or capacity restrictions. Entry to the national park itself is free, but the cable car is a paid attraction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To reach the actual summit of Mount Teide, visitors must obtain a special permit, as access is restricted to protect the environment.
