The Infiorata di Noto takes place in the historic town of Noto, located in southeastern Sicily, a region well known for its Baroque architecture. The event is held along Via Nicolaci, one of the most picturesque streets in the town. Visitors can reach Noto by car or by train from nearby cities such as Syracuse, followed by a short walk to the historic center where the festival is held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival originated in 1980 and has since become one of Italy\u2019s most famous floral events. Each year, artists and volunteers create large-scale floral mosaics using thousands of flower petals arranged into detailed designs inspired by art, culture, religion, or contemporary themes. These temporary artworks cover the entire street, forming a \u201ccarpet\u201d that stretches for hundreds of meters. The event attracts tens of thousands of visitors annually, drawn by its artistic creativity and unique atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Infiorata di Noto is typically held on the third weekend of May and lasts for several days, from Friday to Tuesday.
