Its tallest tower reaches 82 meters and houses a historic clock bell cast in 1530.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The church, officially named the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin Mary, is the main Catholic cathedral of Krakow and is widely regarded as the most beautiful church in the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u5386\u53f2\u4e0e\u5efa\u7b51<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The church was originally built in the 14th century.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Its appearance has remained largely unchanged since the 15th century, when the spires were completed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The interior has undergone several renovations, most recently in the 19th century, blending Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The church is richly decorated with paintings, sculptures, and gilded ornaments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Main Attraction<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The most famous feature is the wooden altar by Veit Stoss, created in the 15th century.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This is the largest surviving medieval wooden altar in Europe, intricately carved and adorned with gilded details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u5468\u56f4\u73af\u5883<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Near the cathedral is a small square, formerly a church cemetery, now featuring a fountain with a sculpture of a boy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The church faces one side of the Main Market Square, making it impossible to miss.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Address: Plac Mariacki 5, p.m.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Entrance for tourists costs \u20ac3.6 (15 PLN in 2024) and can be purchased online in advance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free entry is possible during Sunday services or other service times (details are available at the cathedral).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Opening hours for tourists:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul
