The resort is situated at an altitude of 1,355 meters above sea level, in a small hollow surrounded by rocky peaks of the High Tatras. The name &#8220;\u0160trbsk\u00e9 Pleso&#8221; derives from the Slovak word <em>pleso<\/em>, meaning lake. Around the lake, several hotels, guesthouses, and tourist facilities cater to visitors throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u4f4d\u7f6e\u548c\u4ea4\u901a<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The resort is 26 km from Poprad, which serves as the main transportation hub.
