The quarter preserves narrow stone-paved streets, stone houses from the 14th\u201315th centuries, and a dense network of squares and small alleys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u5730\u70b9<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Gothic Quarter is situated in the heart of old Barcelona, bordered by Plaza Catalunya, La Rambla, and Via Laietana. It is easily accessible by foot from these landmarks. The palace is famous for hosting Christopher Columbus upon his return from America in 1493. The square also houses the Museum of the History of Barcelona.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pla\u00e7a Sant Jaume<\/strong> \u2013 A small square adjacent to the cathedral, featuring two medieval palaces: Barcelona City Hall (Casa de la Ciutat) and the Catalan Parliament (Palau de la Generalitat).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Gothic Quarter is ideal for walking tours,
