Its two white towers are clearly visible from the waterfront.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u4f4d\u7f6e\u548c\u4ea4\u901a<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u5730\u5740\uff1a<\/strong> Intersection of Agiou Andreou and Genethliou streets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nearest public transport:<\/strong> Bus No. 30, stop at Old Port. From the stop, walk about 100 meters to reach the church.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The main post office of Limassol is next to the cathedral.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">History and Architecture<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Built in the early 20th century on the site of a previous mid-18th century Byzantine church.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Constructed in a mixed Byzantine-Greek style using white stone, following Orthodox architectural canons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The name \u201cAyia Napa\u201d likely comes from a sacred icon of the Virgin Mary found in a forest (\u201cNapa\u201d = forest, \u201cAyia\u201d = sacred). It is unrelated to the Cypriot resort of Ayia Napa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Exterior:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>White stone fa\u00e7ade with decorative elements and stained glass windows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two towers and narrow loophole-style windows give it the appearance of a medieval oriental castle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Interior:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Small in size, with halls aligned west to east.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Layout: Narthex \u2192 Prayer Hall \u2192 Iconostasis \u2192 Altar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Richly decorated with frescoes, paintings, and an elegant dome.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Main
