Unlike many other coastal areas, the main seaside road is set back from the shore and separated by a eucalyptus grove known as Dasoudi Park. This natural buffer creates a tranquil environment where visitors can enjoy both the beach and the fresh scent of eucalyptus trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u4f4d\u7f6e\u548c\u4ea4\u901a<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Length: just over 1 km.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Western end: adjacent to Crowne Plaza Limassol.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eastern end: marks the beginning of the tourist hotel zone of Germasogeia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Walking times:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>5 minutes from Debenhams Olympia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>20 minutes from the Central Municipal Park.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>40\u201350 minutes from the Molos Promenade and Limassol Old Town.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transport: Bus No. 30 runs along the entire seafront, connecting Dasoudi with the city center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dasoudi Park<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dasoudi Park is a green belt running parallel to the beach. A single shaded pedestrian route, the Beach Path, runs through the forest and makes for a pleasant walk even during the hottest hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Facilities: two parking lots (one near Park Beach Hotel, another near Dasoudi Caf\u00e9).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Atmosphere: quiet, shaded, and well-suited for jogging, cycling, or family strolls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dasoudi Beach<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The beach itself offers a mix of sandy and pebbly stretches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Best area:<\/strong> near Dasoudi Caf\u00e9, where the beach is wide and better maintained. Facilities here include:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sun loungers and umbrellas (2.5 EUR each).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free Wi-Fi.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toilets (behind the caf\u00e9).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A large children\u2019s playground with a safe rubber surface (renovated in 2019).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wild areas:<\/strong> towards the city center, the beach becomes narrower and less maintained. Garbage can accumulate during peak season.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Water entry:<\/strong> shallow and gentle, ideal for families with children. Visitors may also use the shade of eucalyptus trees instead of renting umbrellas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pros<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Green, shaded environment unusual for Limassol beaches.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Family-friendly facilities (playground, gentle sea entry).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Easily accessible by foot or bus from central Limassol.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wide beach with both organized and free zones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sand is gray volcanic in color, not golden.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pebbles and stones both on the beach and in the water.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During summer, the beach can be dirty despite regular cleaning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Overall, Limassol beaches are less attractive than those in other parts of Cyprus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Verdict<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dasoudi Beach is often called the best beach in Limassol\u2014though more accurately it is \u201cthe best of the worst.\u201d While it cannot compete with Cyprus\u2019s top beaches in Ayia Napa or Protaras, it remains the most pleasant option within Limassol itself. With greenery, shade, and family facilities, it is worth a visit if you are staying in the city, but travelers seeking a classic Cypriot beach experience should look elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note: Photos taken off-season.
