The bridge links Volodymyrska Hirka Park with Khreshchatyi Park, joining the two green hills above the Dnipro into one continuous pedestrian route in the city center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The idea for the bridge had been discussed for several years, but construction only began in December 2018. The bridge itself cost the city about 275 million UAH. Built of steel, concrete and glass, it is 216 meters long. It starts near the arch in Khreshchatyi Park \u2013 the former Arch of Friendship of Peoples, renamed the Arch of Freedom of the Ukrainian People in 2022 \u2013 and ends near the monument to Volodymyr the Great on Volodymyrska Hirka. It is open to pedestrians and cyclists and closed to motor traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u6865\u9762\u5bbd\u5ea6\u4ece6\u7c73\u5230\u89c2\u666f\u53f0\u5904\u768414\u7c73\u4e0d\u7b49\uff0c\u6700\u9ad8\u7684\u6865\u58a9\u9ad832\u7c73\u3002\u89c2\u666f\u53f0\u94fa\u6709\u73bb\u7483\u5730\u677f\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u900f\u8fc7\u73bb\u7483\u4fef\u77b0\u4e0b\u65b9\u7684\u8857\u9053\uff0c\u680f\u6746\u4e0a\u4e5f\u9576\u6709\u73bb\u7483\u3002\u5f00\u901a\u540e\u4e0d\u4e45\u5c31\u6709\u90e8\u5206\u5730\u677f\u73bb\u7483\u51fa\u73b0\u88c2\u7eb9\uff0c\u4e4b\u540e\u53c8\u591a\u6b21\u56e0\u4eba\u4e3a\u7834\u574f\u800c\u53d7\u635f\uff08\u6700\u8fd1\u4e00\u6b21\u57282025\u5e74\uff09\uff0c\u6bcf\u6b21\u53d7\u635f\u7684\u73bb\u7483\u90fd\u5df2\u66f4\u6362\u3002\u5c3d\u7ba1\u4f53\u91cf\u4e0d\u5c0f\uff0c\u5927\u6865\u770b\u4e0a\u53bb\u5374\u5341\u5206\u8f7b\u76c8\uff0c\u4eff\u4f5b\u6f02\u6d6e\u5728\u8857\u9053\u4e0a\u7a7a\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2022\u5e7410\u670810\u65e5\uff0c\u4e00\u679a\u4fc4\u7f57\u65af\u5bfc\u5f39\u5728\u6865\u8fb9\u7206\u70b8\u3002\u5927\u6865\u7ed3\u6784\u7ecf\u53d7\u4f4f\u4e86\u51b2\u51fb\uff1b18\u5757\u73bb\u7483\u5730\u677f\u548c143\u5757\u680f\u6746\u73bb\u7483\u88ab\u66f4\u6362\uff0c\u5927\u6865\u4e8e2022\u5e7412\u670817\u65e5\u91cd\u65b0\u5f00\u653e\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The bridge offers panoramic views of the surrounding parks, the Dnipro River and Kyiv\u2019s Left Bank.
