The Temple of Hatshepsut is a prominent mortuary temple of Ancient Egypt, situated at Deir el-Bahri on the west bank of the Nile, near Luxor. Built in the 15th century BC by the architect Senenmut, it honored Hatshepsut, one of the few women to rule Egypt as pharaoh (reigned c. 1479\u20131458 BC). The temple is set against the cliffs of the Theban mountains, integrating natural rock formations into its architectural design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u795e\u5e99\u5899\u58c1\u4e0a\u88c5\u9970\u7740\u7cbe\u7f8e\u7684\u5f69\u8272\u6d6e\u96d5\uff0c\u63cf\u7ed8\u4e86\u54c8\u7279\u8c22\u666e\u82cf\u7279\u7684\u7edf\u6cbb\u4ee5\u53ca\u53e4\u57c3\u53ca\u4eba\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u573a\u666f\u3002\u8457\u540d\u7684\u753b\u9762\u5305\u62ec\uff1a\u5e95\u5c42\u67f1\u5eca\u5357\u4fa7\u5c06\u65b9\u5c16\u7891\u8fd0\u5f80\u5361\u7eb3\u514b\u7684\u573a\u666f\uff0c\u5317\u4fa7\u67f1\u5eca\u4e2d\u54c8\u7279\u8c22\u666e\u82cf\u7279\u795e\u5723\u8bde\u751f\u7684\u6545\u4e8b\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u7b2c\u4e8c\u5c42\u5e73\u53f0\u5357\u4fa7\u67f1\u5eca\u4e0a\u5973\u738b\u8fdc\u5f81\u84ec\u7279\u4e4b\u5730\u7684\u573a\u666f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Much of the temple has been restored by a Polish-Egyptian mission, and all three terraces can be visited, although some inner chapels are closed. The terraces and ramps offer commanding views of the desert and the Nile Valley. The site is usually visited from Luxor, on Nile cruises or on day trips from Hurghada (about four hours by road each way), often together with the Valley of the Kings and the Colossi of Memnon. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site \u201cAncient Thebes with its Necropolis\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
