布昌斯基公园

Bucha City Park (Buchansky Park) is a public recreational area in the town of Bucha, located about 20 km from the Kyiv city limits. It is considered one of the main leisure spaces for residents of Bucha and nearby districts of Kyiv.

The park is situated near the town center, not far from the Novus supermarket. Its official address is 54 Institutskaya Street. From the Vinogradar district of Kyiv, the journey by car takes around 20 minutes. By public transport, minibus No. 422 runs from Akademmistechko metro station to Bucha, with an additional 5–7 minutes on foot to the park. Other minibuses (Nos. 21, 387, 423, 746, 816) also connect Kyiv with Bucha.

Entrance to the park is free. It is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00.

Development

Buchansky Park is relatively new, having opened in 2011. Work on its development is ongoing. The park was designed in the English landscape style and occupies about 42 hectares. It features pedestrian and cycling paths, many of them surfaced with new asphalt, making it convenient for roller skating and cycling. Bicycle rental services are available. The terrain includes a noticeable slope near the entrance.

• A large rotunda and a miniature English garden near the entrance
• A children’s playground designed as a ship, with a sandy surface
• A summer stage and a small skate park
• Walking paths along a stream with several bridges
• A lake with an embankment more than 1 km long; the lake area is partly under development and includes a beach zone
• A section with children’s attractions, sculptures, and a café
• The ropes course “Shalena Bilka”
• Forested areas with pathways, benches, and installations

Present Use

Today, Bucha City Park functions as both a recreational space and a local cultural center. It attracts families, cyclists, and visitors from Kyiv. Events and seasonal activities are regularly organized, making it an important leisure destination in the region.
