利沃夫广场集市

Rynok Square is the main square of Lviv, located in the heart of the old city. It has a nearly square shape, measuring about 140 by 130 meters. In the center stands the Town Hall, where the City Council meets.

The square is famous for its charming architecture, reminiscent of Western European cities. The narrow, closely built houses reflect an old medieval tax system, where owners had to pay based on the number of windows facing the square.

Rynok Square is also lively and full of attractions. There are numerous restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, and small stalls, along with museums such as the Pharmacy Museum, Black House Museum, Kornyakta Palace, and the Museum of Furniture and Porcelain. A small stage is often set up for concerts and events.

At the corners of the square, visitors can admire ancient marble statues of Neptune, Adonis, and Amphitrite, adding a historical charm to the lively atmosphere.
