Ha-Tahana Station (Jaffa railway station) is a historical train station in Tel Aviv, Israel, originally opened in 1892 as part of the railway connecting the port of Jaffa with Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The station no longer functions for train service and has been transformed into an open-air museum encompassing the station building and neighboring historical structures.

The station, known as Mitham HaTahana, was one of the earliest railway stations in Palestine. After reconstruction, the complex now preserves the late 19th-century atmosphere with old tracks, vintage carriages, and 22 historical buildings reminiscent of the era.

Features

The site includes cafes, souvenir shops, a bookstore, and designer boutiques. On Fridays, a small market is held, and exhibitions are frequently hosted. Visitors can freely walk through the grounds and enjoy the preserved architecture and ambiance.

Ha-Tahana Station is conveniently located between Old Jaffa and the Neve Tzedek neighborhood, near the start of the Tel Aviv promenade. It is about 200–300 meters on foot from Jaffa, making it easily accessible for tourists.
