这 Protaras Church of the Prophet Elijah (Greek: Profitis Ilias) is a Greek Orthodox church situated on the summit of a rocky hill near the Protaras resort in Cyprus. The church occupies a prominent location on the outskirts of Protaras, overlooking the surrounding town, the Mediterranean coastline, and distant mountain ranges, making it a popular site for panoramic views and photography.

The church can be accessed on foot from the center of Protaras in approximately 10–20 minutes, following the path that leads toward Pernera. From Pernera, the hill is reachable in about 20–30 minutes on foot. The hill itself is surrounded by a small park, and visitors must ascend a narrow staircase of 153 steps to reach the church. At the top, a circular observation deck encircles the building, providing extensive views of Protaras, the nearby coastline, and the surrounding countryside.

The church is a modest stone structure built in the Byzantine style in 1984 on the site of an earlier chapel. Its relatively small size contrasts with the dramatic elevation of its location. The site is particularly popular in the evening, when visitors can witness sunsets over the Mediterranean Sea. At night, the church is illuminated, enhancing its visual appeal and prominence on the landscape.

The Church of the Prophet Elijah is open to the public, and entrance is free. Adjacent to the building is a small church shop catering to visitors. Its combination of religious significance, scenic views, and accessible location makes it a notable landmark within the Protaras area.
