La Pelosa Beach is a coastal beach located near the town of Stintino in northwestern Sardinia, Italy. Situated on the Gulf of Asinara, opposite the island of Asinara, it is widely regarded as one of the most notable beaches in Sardinia due to its shallow waters and distinctive Caribbean-like appearance. The nearby 16th-century watchtower, Torre della Pelosa, forms a prominent landmark overlooking the shoreline.

The beach is composed of very fine, light-colored sand, which contributes to the bright turquoise hue of the surrounding sea. The seabed slopes extremely gradually, and the water remains shallow for a considerable distance from the shore. These conditions create calm bathing areas and make the beach particularly suitable for families and non-experienced swimmers. During the main bathing season, typically from June to September, average sea temperatures range between approximately 22 °C and 25 °C.

La Pelosa Beach is subject to environmental protection measures aimed at preserving its delicate ecosystem. Access during the summer months is regulated through a limited daily visitor quota, and advance reservations are often required. Visitors are generally required to use beach mats under towels to protect the sand from erosion.

The beach includes both public areas with free access (subject to reservation requirements) and designated zones offering paid services such as sun loungers and umbrellas. Seasonal facilities may include lifeguard supervision, showers, and nearby refreshment points. Parking areas are located at a distance from the shoreline, with pedestrian access leading to the beach.

Owing to its shallow waters, fine sand, and protected setting within the Gulf of Asinara, La Pelosa Beach represents a significant natural and recreational site in northern Sardinia and is considered one of the most emblematic coastal landscapes of the island.
