Grand-Place, called Grande-Place in French and Grote Markt in Dutch, is the historic central square of Brussels, Belgium’s capital city. It has served as the social and commercial heart of Brussels for centuries, surrounded by ornately decorated guild houses, the striking Town Hall, and the Maison du Roi (King’s House), which now hosts the City Museum.
