Cleopatra Beach is a two-kilometer sandy beach located in the northwestern part of Alanya, on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It is considered one of the best beaches in the region. According to legend, the beach is named after the Egyptian queen Cleopatra, who is said to have visited Alanya with the Roman emperor Mark Antony. The story claims that the sand was brought from Egypt for her, though its historical accuracy is uncertain.

The beach is situated at the entrance to Alanya, in front of the mountain with Alanya Fortress. The main road runs briefly along the coast before moving away from the sea, leaving a quiet and pedestrian-friendly area. Cleopatra Beach features a wide promenade, several parks—including the largest, Ataturk Park—and numerous small hotels, restaurants, and cafes. Large hotel complexes are rare in this area, and most accommodations operate on different meal plans rather than all-inclusive packages.

The sand is golden yellow, and the beach has a gentle entry into the sea. The seabed is mostly sandy, though large stones and pebbles can be found in some places, so caution is advised. Cleopatra Beach is open 24 hours a day with free access. Showers and changing rooms are provided, while umbrellas and sunbeds are available for rent. The beach is equipped with lifeguards, outdoor exercise machines, and water sports facilities such as jet skis and banana boats. Despite being a Blue Flag beach, it can get crowded during the season, and some litter may be present.

In the vicinity of the beach, two Migros supermarkets provide groceries, water, and other supplies at reasonable prices, while smaller beach shops tend to charge more. The beach is easily accessible from Alanya city center by a 15–20 minute walk along Ataturk Caddesi.
