The St. Beatus Caves (St. Beatus-Höhlen) are one of the most impressive natural attractions in Switzerland, located above the shores of Lake Thun near Interlaken. Set dramatically into a cliffside, the caves are known for their spectacular entrance framed by waterfalls and panoramic views over the lake and surrounding mountains.

The caves are easily accessible from nearby towns. From Interlaken, visitors can take a bus (line 21) toward Thun and get off at the “Beatushöhlen” stop, followed by a short uphill walk (about 10–15 minutes). Alternatively, it is possible to arrive by boat on Lake Thun, stopping at Beatushöhlen and walking up to the entrance. For those traveling by car, parking is available near the site, though spaces can be limited during peak tourist season.
