Lloret de Mar Beach (Platja de Lloret) is the main and most famous beach in the resort town of Lloret de Mar, located on the beautiful Costa Brava along the Mediterranean Sea. Stretching for about 1.5 kilometres, this wide sandy beach is known for its clear turquoise water, lively atmosphere, and palm-lined promenade. It is one of the most popular seaside destinations in northeastern Spain, attracting visitors from across Europe.

The beach offers excellent facilities for tourists, including sunbed and umbrella rentals, showers, changing areas, beach bars, restaurants, and water sports activities such as jet skiing, parasailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The long promenade behind the beach is full of cafés, shops, and nightlife venues, making it a vibrant place both during the day and in the evening.

Getting to Lloret de Mar Beach is easy. The nearest major city is Barcelona, located about 75 km away. Visitors can reach Lloret de Mar by bus from Barcelona Airport or the city centre, with the journey taking about 1 to 1.5 hours. Another option is to take a train to Blanes, the closest railway station, and then continue by bus or taxi for about 15 minutes. If traveling by car, the town is accessible via the C-32 and GI-682 coastal roads, and there are several public parking areas near the beach.

Access to the beach itself is free, as it is a public beach. Visitors only pay for optional services such as sunbeds and umbrellas (typically €7–€10 each per day), water sports activities, or parking nearby. Lloret de Mar Beach is especially popular in summer (June to September) when the Mediterranean water is warm and the resort town is full of energy. For a quieter experience, visiting in late spring or early autumn offers beautiful weather with fewer crowds.
