Casa Batlló is a building located at 43 Passeig de Gràcia in central Barcelona, Spain. It is a notable example of Catalan modernism and was remodelled between 1904 and 1906 under the direction of Josep Batlló, a local industrialist. The redesign was carried out by architect Antoni Gaudí, who transformed the existing structure and introduced elements that became characteristic of his architectural style. The building is situated near Plaza Catalunya and is accessible via the Passeig de Gràcia metro station.

The façade of Casa Batlló features undulating forms, a central balcony with stained glass, and columns shaped like bones. Its roof is curved and decorated with ceramic tiles, often interpreted as resembling the scales of a dragon. The interior includes a central courtyard with blue mosaic tiles, a wooden staircase, and custom-designed furniture. The building avoids straight lines, resulting in irregular shapes throughout the structure, including walls, doors, and windows.

Casa Batlló is currently operated as a museum. Visitors can access the second floor, the central courtyard, and the rooftop, which displays Gaudí’s distinctive ventilation structures. The building is located next to Casa Amatller, another prominent modernist house on Passeig de Gràcia.

As of 2024, adult admission to Casa Batlló is 35 euros. The site is a major tourist attraction and is frequently visited by both domestic and international visitors.
