Fountain of Montjuic, Barcelona

这 Singing Fountain of Montjuïc is located at the foot of Montjuïc Hill, next to Plaza de España. Technically, it is not a single fountain, but a complex of cascading fountains and squares stretching over 600 meters from Plaza de España toward the National Palace.

Getting There:

By public transport or as part of a tourist city bus route.
The nearest metro station is Plaza de España, about a 5–7 minute walk to the fountains.

Fountain Shows:

The fountain is beautiful any time of day, but the evening light shows are magical.
Jets of water move in rhythm with music, and colored lights illuminate the water from within.
Around 2.5 million people watch the shows annually, so arrive early if you want a front-row view.

Schedule (2024):

October 1 – April 30: Fridays and Saturdays, every 30 minutes from 19:00 to 21:00.
May 1 – September 30: Thursday to Sunday, every 30 minutes from 21:00 to 23:30.
