Safaripark Beekse Bergen near Hilvarenbeek, just south of Tilburg in North Brabant, is the largest safari park in the Netherlands. More than 100 animal species live in large open areas, and it is the only place in the country where you can spot all of Africa’s Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo.
Safari Experiences
One of the biggest advantages of Safaripark Beekse Bergen is that visitors can explore the park in four different ways:
- Car Safari: drive your own car through animal areas
- Bus Safari: guided safari with a driver and explanations
- Boat Safari: calm trip by water past animals on the shore
- Walking Safari: paths and bridges for walking close to animals
How to Get There
- By car:
The park is easy to reach by car and is located near major roads. Large parking areas are available close to the entrance. - By public transport:
Visitors can travel by train to Tilburg station. From there, buses connect the city with the safari park.

A day ticket includes all four safaris.
