Disneyland Park is the main and most famous amusement park of Disneyland Paris, opened in 1992 and modeled after the original Disneyland in California, USA. It is large enough that a full day is recommended to explore it.
Park Layout
After entering, visitors first arrive at Main Street USA, an early 20th-century American town with restaurants, cafes, and Disney shops. Here is also the main station of the Disneyland Railroad, a steam train that circles the park.
At the end of Main Street, the Sleeping Beauty Castle stands at the center, from which four themed areas branch out:
- Frontierland – Wild West attractions, lakes, and forts
- Discoveryland – Futuristic and sci-fi themed, including Star Wars rides
- Fantasyland – Fairy-tale world for children with carousels, boats, and labyrinths
- Adventureland – Adventure and exotic worlds like Africa, pirates, and jungle
Themed areas are immersive worlds with houses, landscapes, rivers, and fortresses, making walking around enjoyable even without visiting attractions.
