Disney Adventure World is the second theme park of Disneyland Paris, next to the original Disneyland Park in Chessy, about 32 km east of central Paris. It opened in 2002 as Walt Disney Studios Park and was renamed on 29 March 2026 after a major expansion that almost doubled its size, added the Adventure Bay lake and the Adventure Way avenue, and opened the new World of Frozen.
The park is now divided into several lands:
- World of Frozen, a recreation of Arendelle with the boat ride Frozen Ever After and meetings with Anna and Elsa
- Adventure Way, the new main avenue along Adventure Bay, with the Tangled Spin ride and many restaurants
- Worlds of Pixar, with Crush’s Coaster (a spinning coaster themed on Finding Nemo), Ratatouille: The Adventure, Cars Road Trip and the Toy Story Playland rides such as RC Racer and Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop
- Marvel Avengers Campus, with the indoor roller coaster Avengers Assemble: Flight Force (the former Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster, rethemed in 2022) and the interactive ride Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure
- World Premiere Plaza at the entrance, with The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, a free-fall drop ride
In the evening, Disney Cascade of Lights combines fountains, fireworks and drones over Adventure Bay. A Lion King area with a flume ride is planned for the coming years, while the old Moteurs… Action! stunt show and the Studio Tram Tour closed in 2020.
Tickets are dated and their price depends on the day: in 2026 a 1-day ticket for one park costs from about €60 on quiet days to around €100 at peak times, and a 1-day ticket for both parks starts at about €90. Some rides have height restrictions, and seeing the whole park takes most of a day. The quickest way from Paris is the RER A to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy, about 40 minutes from the city centre.
