Vrachos Beach is a long coastal beach on the Ionian Sea in the Epirus region of northwestern Greece, located in the area between the villages of Loutsa and Vrachos (Preveza regional unit). The beach is approximately 3 km long and, in places, over 50 m wide. It is known for clear water and an open-sea setting that can produce gentle to moderate waves, with a generally relaxed atmosphere compared to more urban resort beaches.
Vrachos and Loutsa are two ends of the same sandy beach: the northern part, towards Parga, is called Loutsa, and the southern part, towards Preveza, is Vrachos.
Location
Vrachos Beach lies about 25 km from Parga and is typically reached by car via the coastal road network of Epirus. Visitors generally park in or near the beachfront settlements (Loutsa/Vrachos), where access points lead directly onto the sand. The area is developed as a low-rise holiday strip with accommodation and services along the seafront.
Entrance fees and facilities
Access to the shoreline is generally free (public beach). Sunbeds and umbrellas are commonly offered by waterfront businesses, typically as paid rentals or tied to food-and-drink service, depending on the establishment. The beachfront promenade area is described as organized and lined with cafés and restaurants, and parking is available along nearby streets.
