Tel Aviv weather on the Mediterranean
Tel Aviv has a warm Mediterranean climate with a long, rainless summer. From June to September afternoons reach 29–32 °C, the sea air keeps the humidity high and nights stay around 23–24 °C. Rain falls almost only from November to March, with 7–12 wet days a month, but even then winter days stay pleasant at 17–20 °C.
A beach city all year
The beaches and the seaside promenade are busy from May to October, while spring and autumn, with 23–28 °C, are best for exploring the Bauhaus buildings of the White City along Rothschild Boulevard, the lanes of Neve Tzedek and the old port of Jaffa. On summer days, swim in the morning and leave walks for the evening, when the breeze from the sea cools the city.
Rainy winter days
Winter storms can bring short, heavy downpours. On such days, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and the Azrieli Center, with its mall and an observation deck high above the city, are good options, and the restored HaTachana railway station is pleasant to stroll once the rain stops.
