拉瓦迪诺沃城堡

Ravadinovo Castle, officially called “In Love with the Wind”, is a modern yet fantastical castle near the village of Ravadinovo, just a few kilometers from the resort town of Sozopol in Bulgaria. Built over 20 years by Georgi Tumpalov and his team, it blends Gothic, Bulgarian, Chinese, and Gaudi-inspired styles, creating a truly unusual appearance in the middle of open fields.

How to Get There:

• 驾车： Follow the Burgas–Sozopol highway, then turn toward Ravadinovo at the indicated junction. A few minutes later, you’ll arrive at the castle.
• 乘坐公共交通工具： Take a Burgas–Sozopol bus (about 35 min, ticket ~4.5 leva) to Sozopol, then a taxi to Ravadinovo (15 leva one way). Some buses stop directly at Ravadinovo, but only a couple per day.

Castle Grounds and Attractions:

• Castle structure: Built from marble limestone from the Strandzha mountains; about 5000 m² with 60 rooms, oak floors, carved furniture, and decorative thrones. Entry inside the castle is not allowed.
• Park and grounds: Green park with lakes, ponds, bridges, grottoes, fountains, sculptures, and bronze benches.
• Historical and fantasy features:
  • Arched gates modeled on Hadrian’s Gate in Antalya
  • Fairytale knight armor
  • Dungeon and wine cellar, 12 meters underground
  • Small chapel
• Mini zoo: Peacocks, pheasants, swans, and other birds and ungulates.
• Facilities: Café, children’s attractions, souvenir shop.
• Nearby: Neptune Water Park is adjacent, making a combined visit possible.

Visiting Information:

• Open from morning until 10 pm, every day.
• Entrance ticket: 20 leva (~10 euros); children under 7 enter free.
• Café and toilets on site, though prices are high.
