Vitosha Boulevard (бул. Витоша) is the main pedestrian street in Sofia, Bulgaria. It begins near the Court Chamber and the Church of St. Nedelya, close to Independence Square and Serdika metro station. The first two blocks allow vehicular traffic, but beyond the courthouse the boulevard becomes a pedestrian zone, forming the central walking area of Sofia. The pedestrian section extends to NDK metro station and the adjacent park.

Named after Vitosha Mountain, the boulevard was developed with low-rise buildings between the late 19th and the first half of the 20th century. The pedestrian section is approximately 500–600 meters long. The street hosts a variety of shops, including international chains (H&M, Zara, Benetton, Promod) and local retailers, such as shoe and leather stores, bookstores, and cosmetic shops.

There are numerous restaurants and cafés along the boulevard. Outdoor seating is common during warm months. Hotels and real estate on Vitosha Boulevard are generally expensive.

In recent years, the boulevard underwent significant renovations: tram rails and asphalt were removed, and the area was paved with tiles in a European-style design. Street lighting has been improved, enhancing the boulevard’s appearance in the evening.

Although the architectural style is largely uniform, some older buildings near the city center are preserved. Parallel streets contain additional historic houses and small shops. The boulevard frequently hosts festivals, parades, and other public events.
