Kaleiçi Harbor is a small historic port located in the old town of Antalya, Turkey. Today it serves primarily as a mooring area for yachts and pleasure boats.

The harbor has a history spanning more than two thousand years. Since the founding of Antalya in the 2nd century BC, it was the second most important port on Turkey’s southern coast. Ships from Ancient Rome, Byzantium, and the Ottoman Empire regularly docked here, serving as the main maritime gateway to the fertile valleys of the region. Many fortifications from this period remain, including fortress walls, watchtowers, and cannon placements.

In the 20th century, the construction of a larger modern port on the outskirts of Antalya shifted commercial activity away from Kaleiçi Harbor. Today, it functions mainly as a tourist and recreational area, with cafes, small restaurants, and excursion yachts that travel along the coast toward the Düden Waterfalls.

The harbor can be reached from central Antalya, located above the port on a hill, either by descending the narrow streets of the Kaleiçi district or by using a panoramic elevator, which is free of charge. Entrance to the harbor area is also free (2024).

Near the harbor is Mermerli Beach, a small sandy beach. According to legend, it was the site where the Roman general Mark Antony met the Egyptian queen Cleopatra.
