Access and Transportation

To reach Grindelwald, take a train from Zurich to Interlaken Ost via Bern (about 3 hours). From Interlaken Ost, switch to a train heading to Grindelwald. For the Jungfrau ascent, take the train to Kleine Scheidegg (30 minutes from Grindelwald) to reach the base station of the Jungfrau – Top of Europe cogwheel railway.

Jungfrau Excursion

The Jungfrau railway takes visitors to Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe at 3,454 meters, offering breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Sphinx observation deck can be accessed via high-speed elevator. Tickets cost from 101 CHF (2025).
