Gardaland on the south-eastern shore of Lake Garda, between Peschiera del Garda and Castelnuovo del Garda, is the best-known amusement park in Italy. It opened in 1975, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2025 and welcomes millions of visitors every year; its mascot is the green dragon Prezzemolo.
The park has themed areas such as Fantasy Kingdom, Adventure Land, Peppa Pig Land and Kung Fu Panda Academy, with rides for small children as well as big roller coasters: Raptor, a wing coaster with inversions, Oblivion: The Black Hole, a dive coaster with a vertical drop into a dark tunnel, and the suspended looping coaster Blue Tornado. New in 2026 is the 4D film Prezzemolo e l’Enigma Svelato. Next to the park are the Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium, with separate tickets, and three themed hotels.
The 2026 season runs from 28 March to 1 November. A one-day adult ticket costs from €44 online or €59 at the ticket office, and children shorter than 90 cm enter free.
