Primavera Sound is one of the most famous music festivals in Europe. It takes place every year in Barcelona, Spain, at the large seaside venue Parc del Fòrum. The festival usually happens at the beginning of June and attracts thousands of music fans from around the world.
Primavera Sound 2027, the festival’s 25th edition, runs at Parc del Fòrum from 2 to 6 June: a free opening day on 2 June, 151 acts on the three main days from 3 to 5 June, and the closing electronic party Primavera Bits on 6 June.
The festival presents many styles of music such as indie rock, pop, electronic and hip-hop. The 2027 line-up is led by Doechii, Phoebe Bridgers, Massive Attack, Fontaines D.C. and Turnstile, with FKA twigs, The Chemical Brothers, Robyn, Pavement and Caroline Polachek among the other names.
Tickets are paid. In the fan sale on 8 October 2026 a full festival pass costs €295 and a VIP pass €545, plus booking fees; from the general sale on 9 October the full pass costs €350. Day tickets are usually released later in the season.
For tourists, Primavera Sound is a great opportunity to combine live music with a visit to Barcelona. The festival area is easy to reach by metro and tram, and many visitors stay in hotels or apartments in the city because the festival does not provide camping.
