Skara Sommarland is a popular summer water and amusement park located near Skara in Västra Götaland County, Sweden (about 8 km east of Skara city). It’s one of Scandinavia’s biggest water parks combined with a fun fair, making it a great destination for families, friends and thrill-seekers during the summer season.

The park features a huge water park with around 13 splashing attractions and water slides — from winding tube slides like Vortex to family-friendly rides like Piratön and thrilling drops like Big Drop / Waka Waka. There’s also a classic amusement area (Tivoli) with roller coasters and rides such as Tranan, Spinner and Snake, plus carousels and go-kart tracks for extra fun.

Prices: A typical one-day ticket in 2025 starts from about 329 SEK per person (for both adults and children over 1 m tall). Children under 1 m enter free, and there are reduced prices for seniors. Park season passes and special offers are also available. The park is usually open from early June to mid-August each year.
