Campona shopping center, Budapest

Campona Shopping and Entertainment Centre is a large out-of-town mall in Budafok-Tétény, the southernmost district of Buda in Budapest, at Nagytétényi út 37–43. It has more than 160 shops, cafés and restaurants on two floors, a food court and an 11-screen Cinema City multiplex.

Its best-known attraction is the Tropicarium, one of the largest sea aquariums in Central Europe, with a big shark tank, a ray pool, exotic fish and a tropical rainforest area with reptiles and birds. The Tropicarium is open every day of the year from 10:00 to 20:00 and charges separate admission.

The shops are open Monday to Thursday from 10:00 to 20:00, on Fridays until 21:00, on Saturdays from 9:00 to 21:00 and on Sundays from 10:00 to 19:00. Campona lies far from the city centre and there is no metro nearby: buses 33, 133E, 213 and 214 stop at Lépcsős utca, about 150 metres away.
